Bucs Trade Up for Kwon Alexander in 4th Round

The Buccaneers trade up in the 4th round to select LSU LB Kwon Alexander.

The Buccaneers continued their aggressive approach in this draft by trading up in the 4th round to secure themselves the chance to draft LSU LB Kwon Alexander.

Alexander was a leader on the LSU defense. He is one of the fastest and most athletic linebackers in this draft. Alexander is also a very aggressive player who is a big hitter.

Just a few picks after the Buccaneers traded up for Alexander, the Cowboys selected a linebacker out of Minnesota. It is very possible that the Bucs were worried that the Cowboys and Rod Marinelli would select Alexander right in front of them, which may have led to the trade up.

It is very possible that the Bucs traded up to steal Ali Marpet from the Patriots in the 2nd round, and then traded up and stole Alexander from the Cowboys.
