Bucs Draft Speed WR Kenny Bell in 5th Round

The Buccaneers select Nebraska WR Kenny Bell in the 5th round of the NFL Draft.

In the 5th round of the 2015 NFL Draft, the Bucs went back to their offense and selected speed receiver Kenny Bell out of Nebraska. Bell (6'1'' 197 lbs) ran a 4.38 40 yard dash and has a knack for getting deep on defenses and making plays down the field.

The first thing I notice when watching Bell is that he does an excellent job at catching the ball with soft hands away from his body. Coming from a run-heavy offense at Nebraska, Bell's evaluation is tough, but the natural talent is there.

Bell also possesses all of the intangibles a team looks for in a player. He was a captain and leader at Nebraska, has a tremendous work ethic, and is the son of a former NFL player.

Bell can also contribute on special teams as a gunner and return man. He averaged more than 25 yards per kick return at Nebraska.
