Bucs Get Their Returner in the 6th Round

The Buccaneers may have found their return specialist in the 6th round of the NFL Draft.

The Buccaneers return game in 2014 was a revolving door and a joke at times. The Bucs hope their 6th round pick can change all of that.

In the 6th round, the Bucs selected Utah WR/kick/punt returner Kaelin Clay.

Clay is best known for his infamous "almost" touchdown against Oregon. As he was running into the endzone after catching a deep pass and knifing through the Oregon secondary, Clay dropped the ball at the one yard line. Oregon would pick up the fumble and return it for a touchdown for themselves.

On the bright side, Clay is a hell of a return man. He returned 3 punts for touchdowns in 2014 for Utah. Clay averaged 15 yards per punt return and 25 yards per kick return in 2014.

Clay will enter 2015 as the Buccaneers primary return man.
