Remember when the hot topic among Bucs fans that didn't want Jameis Winston was that they were worried he'd play baseball? Well, that argument got dispelled on Monday.
In his MMQB column on Monday, Peter King of SI.com wrote thatWinston is prohibited to play baseball after a special clause was put in his contract.
"In the contract, a Bucs’ source said, is a clause prohibiting Winston from playing professional baseball during the life of his Tampa Bay deal."
I don't think anyone truly thought Jameis Winston would try and go play baseball, but with the current Russell Wilson situation in Seattle, it's better to go ahead and place a clause into the contract if both sides agree.Subscribe to The Commish Online Podcast on iTunes!
