Bucs Bring Back Tight End Tim Wright

After being cut by New England, the Bucs claim tight end Tim Wright off of waivers.

The Buccaneers bring back a fan favorite after dealing him almost a year ago. Tampa Bay has claimed tight end Tim Wright off of waivers after the New England Patriots cut him earlier this week.

There could be some potential for success this season for Wright. Rookie quarterback Jameis Winston relied often on the trusted hands of tight end Nick O'Leary at Florida State. Wright will provide another young offensive weapon at the tight end position next to tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins. That is of course if he can make it through camp this year.

Wright caught six touchdowns for the Patriots last season and five touchdowns for the Bucs in 2013. He finished 2013 with 54 receptions and 571 yards in a rookie season that featured lots of praise from many around the league.

Here is a highlight video of Tim Wright's rookie campaign with the Buccaneers.
