Bucs Have Influential Names

Peter King released a portion of his list of the top100 most influential people in the NFL on Monday. So far, the Bucs have three names on the list.

The Buccaneers may have been 2-14 last season, but the amount of influential people they have within the walls of their organization is larger than others.

SI.com's Peter King released numbers 71-100 of his list of the top 100 influential people in the NFL on Monday. In the list, Bucs fans will see general manager Jason Licht (89) and offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter (73).

Through 30 names, Licht is one of only two general managers on the list, ranking two spots ahead of the Broncos' John Elway. Licht is in just his 2nd year as Bucs' general manager, but he did make the bold decision to go all-in with Jameis Winston.

Koetter's ranking at 73 is surprising as he is the only coordinator to crack the list so far. Koetter's work with Matt Ryan over the past few years has raised his reputation. Koetter is easily the Bucs best pure "offensive coordinator" the team has ever had.

The Bucs do not appear to be done appearing on King's list. It is also expected that Jameis Winston will debut at number 25. Names like Gerald McCoy, Lavonte David, Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson, Tony Dungy, Derrick Brooks, and Lovie Smith could also find there way to this list.

It is ironic that Winston will debut at number 25, while Marcus Mariota came in at 93 and next year's 1st round QB Connor Cook fell in at 76.
