Let's face the facts here, the fate of the Bucs both now and for future years lies on the shoulders of Jameis Winston. It's ok to allow yourself to be excited. I am. Hell, being born in 1981, this is the first time in my lifetime where I truly feel the Bucs have a "franchise quarterback."
There's really no surprise here, but let's take a look at how these players may shape out through the preseason:
Jameis Winston - Jameis Winston will be the Bucs starting quarterback, and will have his growing pains. How Jameis responds to interceptions, losses, and adversity will determine what type of NFL player he ends up being.
Mike Glennon - Glennon's ceiling has always been as being an ideal backup. Glennon can make some nice throws. He just doesn't do it consistently enough. Glennon also does not turn the ball over, which is a nice plus for a backup filling in.
