ALERT: Jameis Winston Uneven in Bucs Debut

Jameis Winston played in his first NFL preseason game on Saturday night. We discuss his performance in this video.

All eyes were on Jameis Winston as the Bucs kicked off for their first preseason game of 2015. I had friends texting me leading up to the start of the game, and twitter was a buzz, all in anticipation for Jameis Winston's first NFL snap.

As expected, Jameis Winston's night was a little uneven. The nerves were obviously present at the beginning of the game as Winston missed on his first few throws. It wasn't until a 3rd and 14 did Winston complete his first pass, a 40 yard strike to Vincent Jackson. He would follow that up with a 14 yard pass to Louis Murphy before the Bucs settled for a field goal.

On the Bucs next possession, Winston would overthrow Mike Evans resulting in an interception.

Jameis  Winston would put a nice two minute drill together to march the Bucs down the field before halftime. After five completed passes, Winston would scramble for an eight yard touchdown run.

Unfortunately for the Bucs, they were down 23-9 at halftime. As for Winston, it was to be expected. He had some flashes and nice passes, and he had some poor throws.
