While the NFL off-season might seem long to others, I feel as if it was just yesterday when I was arguing with folks that the Bucs would be taking Jameis Winston with the 1st pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Monday night, we all get to see it come to fruition as the player most Bucs fans deem as the savior of a doormant franchise plays inside his new home stadium for the first time.
Last week, we all got to see Winston play in a Bucs uniform on the road against the Vikings. The interest was outstanding for that game. During that game, there was a peak rating of 16.1 in Tampa with a 26 share. That means of all the TVs turned on in Tampa, a whopping 26% were tuned into the Bucs preseason game. This is easilty the most interest the Bucs have drawn since Jon Gruden was on the sidelines.
In this video, we discuss the buzz leading up to Jameis Winston officially renaming the stadium...Raymond Jameis Stadium.
