Bucs Showing Interest in Ohio State Safety Vonn Bell

The Bucs continue to have a major need at safety, which they may just address in the draft.

The Bucs have addressed many concern areas in free agency, but safety still remains a main need for the team. While the first round may only provide one player, Jalen Ramsey, who may play safety, the Bucs may look towards the 2nd or 3rd round to address this need.

Bell does not possess ideal size or elite speed, but he has the potential to be a very good coverage safety in the NFL. Bell can match up in man coverage and play centerfield as the last line of defense. While Bell won't offer much as a box defender against the run, safeties that can play the pass tend to be much more valuable in this era of the NFL.

Vonn Bell would be a 2nd round target for the Bucs.
