Bucs' Interest in NFL Draft Safeties Continues with Miles Killebrew

The Bucs continue to show interest in Draft's safeties.

A day after we received word that the Bucs were showing interest in Ohio State safety Vonn Bell, we find out the interest in safeties does not end with him.

According to our own Luke Easterling, the Bucs are showing interest in Southern Utah safety Miles Killebrew, and plan to meet with him before the draft.

Killebrew possesses ideal size at 6'2'' and 230 lbs, but is play on the field is less than desirable. A 4 year starter at Southern Utah, Killebrew is still very raw as a safety. In Southern Utah's 2015 playoff game against Sam Houston State, Killebrew might have played as bad a game as any safety could. In this game, he took bad angles, missed tackles, and was run over.

While the natural talent is there, Killebrew still has a long way to go to becoming a starter in the NFL. My ceiling to draft him would be the 4th round, but I'd even hesitate then. With that said, I think his unique blend of size and athleticism gets him drafted in the 3rd round.
