Injuries Cause Bucs to Sign LB Thweatt, Again

October 31 – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought back a familiar face to their practice squad when they signed rookie LB Bryon Thweatt on Wednesday. To make room for Thweatt on their practice squad, the Buccaneers released RB Robert Arnaud.

Injuries have caused the Buccaneers to make a few moves on their practice squad, again. Bucs linebackers Jeff Gooch (Shoulder)and LB Derrick Brooks (Foot) are both listed as probable while Nate Webster (Shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game at Green Bay. On Wednesday, Tampa Bay signed LB Bryon Thweatt (6-2, 233) to its five-man practice squad. In order to make room for Thweatt, the Buccaneers released RB Robert Arnaud.

Thweatt originally signed with Tampa Bay on April 23 as an undrafted rookie free agent. He was then signed to the practice squad on Oct. 17 before being released on Oct. 24.

Arnaud was signed to Tampa Bay's practice squad on Oct. 3 after RB Warrick Dunn suffered a foot injury.
