Practice Squad Shuffle

November 6 - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers made a practice squad move for the second week in a row on Tuesday by signing CB Anthony Midget to their practice squad. Midget was signed after Tampa Bay cornerbacks Donnie Abraham and Ronde Barber were both injured in last Sunday's game against Green Bay. To make room for Midget on the practice squad, the Bucs released LB Byron Thweatt.

Tampa Bay has made yet another practice squad move. On Tuesday, the Buccaneers signed CB Anthony Midget to their practice squad due to injuries suffered by both CB Donnie Abraham and CB Ronde Barber.

Midget (5-11, 193) spent the 2000 season on Tampa Bay's practice squad and also went through the Bucs' 2001 training camp until he was released on Aug. 27.

Midget originally entered the NFL as a fifth round draft selection with the Atltana Falcons.

To make room on their five-man practice squad, Tampa Bay released LB Byron Thweatt for the third time.

Thweatt was released on Sept. 2 and then resigned on Oct. 17. Thweatt was signed again on Oct. 17 and resigned a week later on Oct. 24.
