Bucs-Lions Preview

November 9 – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will attempt to rebound from their loss to Green Bay last weekend by defeating the winless Detroit Lions this Sunday. The Lions are 0-7, but have been playing better football in the last few weeks. The 3-4 Buccaneers cannot afford to drop another division game and are in a must-win mode, again. WHEN:: Sunday, Nov. 11 at 1:00 p.m. ET. on FOX

PLAY-BY-PLAY: : Dan Miller and Sean Jones

LAST WEEK: The Detroit Lions lost in San Franscisco to the 49ers, 21-13.

Meanwhile, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost in Green Bay to the Packers, 21-20.

LAST SEASON The Detroit Lions finished last season with a 9-7 record, but didn't make the playoffs. The Lions were in fourth place in the NFC Central Division.

THE LAST TIME THESE TWO TEAMS MET: Oct. 18, 2000: Tampa Bay hosted Detroit on Thursday Night Football in Raymond James Stadium last season, but lost to the Lions, 28-14. The Bucs blew a 8-0 lead and allowed the Lions to score two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. Tampa Bay's offense was 2-of-11 on third down conversions.

BUCS-LIONS SERIES: The Lions lead this all-time series, 26-20. Tampa Bay has won just 3-of-10 games against Detroit under head coach Tony Dungy.
