"Well, this is kind of a disappointing ending to our season. We definitely wanted to win and we're especially disappointed when we don't win at home. We played about 50 minutes of good football and then kind of let it slip away. We have to bounce back and get ready for Saturday's game. We wanted to finish the season strong and get that 10th win. We had the 13-3 lead and didn't hold it and that is something we are pretty good at doing. You have to give them credit for making the plays they needed to make in order to win the game."
OT Kenyatta Walker ON THE ENDING OF THE BUCS - EAGLES GAME
"We played 50 minutes of good ball followed by 10 minutes of some not so good. We lost. It was a game we would like to have won. But we kind of got a feel for them. A lot of players on both sides didn't play, but we've got some things on film. I think both teams hid some things on both sides of the ball. It's for all the marbles next week, though. We have a mission. I wasn't here last year, but they beat us pretty badly. We have to go up there now and make a statement."
DE Simeon Rice ON THE REMATCH NEXT WEEK IN THE PLAYOFFS AT VETERANS STADIUM
"We are completely focused on Philly next week. We are heading to the East Coast, where I used to play basketball. It's going to be a big deal. Now I will be able to properly introduce myself to one of my home town buddies (Donovan McNabb). I played with him in high school and all that. We're about to see the true progression. I'm sure everyone in Chicago will be watching, my family and his family. It will be a big event. We took one on the chin today, but I don't think anything is going to stop us. I like how we are feeling now."
TE Todd Yoder ON PLAYING THE EAGLES AGAIN NEXT WEEK IN PHILADELPHIA
"This game was kind of a preparation for the game next week; the on that counts. It would have been nice to close this one out, though. Now we have to go up there and it's going to be cold. There are a lot of people who say we can't beat them on the road. But we will be ready to go."
RB Aaron Stecker ON GETTING THE MAJORITY OF THE BUCS' CARRIES
"It felt pretty good. It hasn't been like that since I came over here from (NFL) Europe. I had an opportunity and I think I did some good things out there. I had confidence in the offensive line and ran pretty well in the first half. The second half, I think I pressed a little bit trying to make something happen. When the team starts to stall a little, I always want to be the guy to get us over the hump."
SS John Lynch ON THE STEVE SPURRIER RUMORS BEING A DISTRACTION
"No, it's not a distraction at all. We are so focused on the task at hand and in the playoffs, you need that type of concentration. You hear things, but as I've said all along, the way to control the situation is to win football games."
DE Simeon Rice ON THE BUCS MAKING THE PLAYOFFS
"This is my chance to make my mark on this team. I'm going to use the playoffs as a 'scream' or 'yell.' I have yet to be respected as one of the best. You're going to see a primed and ready Rice. I guarantee that. And once you see me play, you'll see I was trying to make a statement."
OT Kenyatta Walker ON THE EAGLES' DIRTY PLAY
"They were playing a lot of their backups so you had guys playing for the first time. They got excited and sometimes that clouds your judgement."
WR Milton Wynn ON PLAYING IN HIS FIRST NFL GAME
"I was happy to get an opportunity to play tonight. I've watched the other receivers all year and learned from them. I got a shot and I just wanted to give it my best."
RB Aaron Stecker ON THE DIRTY PLAY OF THE EAGLES
"We kind of expected that. That's their style of play. They get aggressive and some times they take cheap shots. Coach Dungy tells us not to be the second guy in that situation because it's always the second guy that gets the penalty. You have to walk away and show you're a better man. Then you gash them on the next play if you have an opportunity."
SS John Lynch ON PHILADELPHIA'S DIRTY PLAY
"They are a physical football team that plays on the edge. We play that type of game as well. We need to match them in that area next week."
WR Milton Wynn ON HIS FIRST CATCH, A 36-YARD GAIN
"Actually, it felt like things were moving in slow motion. After the first catch and tackle, I kind of got a feel for the game. Then I really wanted the ball. I think I was pretty sound on my assignments and my blocking. I feel like I contributed."
RB Aaron Stecker ON KARL WILLIAMS REPLACING HIM ON THE LAST KICKOFF RETURN, WHICH HE FUMBLED LEADING TO THE EAGLES' WINNING SCORE
"I was taking a rest. I had just taken a hard hit to my hip. Sometimes, the competitor in you makes you want to be on the field. But, you also have to think you may be hurting the team by going out when you can't go full speed. The coaches knew I was hurt. Karl's a real dependable guy when it comes to returning kicks. His fumble is one of those freak things."
SS John Lynch ON THE LOSS TO PHILADELPHIA
"Yeah, we kind of let one go. It's disappointing because we wanted to win this football game for a lot of reasons. We did say, however, that win or lose that we needed to put this one behind us pretty quickly. The game that really matters is coming up Saturday. And we feel good about our chances going into this playoff. We did a lot of good things out there today. What we need to do now is take what is on the film and get back to work this week."
TE Todd Yoder ON THE UNEVEN PLAY OF THE BUCS' OFFENSE AGAINST THE EAGLES
"The first half the running game was really going. But the second half, they were able to shut us down. That really hurt us."
OT Kenyatta Walker ON THE SUDDEN RESIGNATION OF FLORIDA GATORS HEAD COACH STEVE SPURRIER ON FRIDAY
"I wasn't shocked by his decision to leave. He's a great coach and I think he will do well no matter where he goes. I wish him the best."
OT Kenyatta Walker ON WHETHER HE WOULD LIKE TO PLAY FOR SPURRIER AGAIN
"I like playing for Coach Dungy. But if things transpire in that direction, I wouldn't mind. But that is not my decision."
SS John Lynch ON WHETHER ANYTHING COULD BE LEARNED FROM THIS GAME AGAINST THE EAGLES
"Sure. We will get to see how they were scheming us. The bottom line is that the two weeks of preparation in addition to the week we studied Philadelphia in September makes us very familiar with them. Generally, when teams are familiar with each other it comes down to who makes the plays. It should be a good football game and we are looking forward to it."
RB Aaron Stecker ON HIS CHANCES TO SEE ANY ACTION AT RUNNING BACK IN THE PLAYOFFS
"I don't think that is going to happen. Regardless, I think they are going to stick with Mike (Alstott) and Warrick (Dunn). We are not a team that likes to change things and this was a one-game situation. But I'll be ready if they need me."
RB Aaron Stecker ON HIS FIRST RUSHING TOUCHDOWN
"It was a belly play and Jamaal Cook threw a great block, and the rest of the line sealed off. The hole was right there. It was kind of easy; I just had to walk it in."
Coach Tony Dungy ON THE CHIPPINESS OF SOME OF THE PLAY AGAINST THE EAGLES
"I think it is a case of two teams playing hard, physical football. It's going to be like that next week as well. We have to be ready for it."
SS John Lynch ON HIS INTERCEPTION IN THE FIRST HALF
"I was trying to play a 'robber' scheme in the middle and I was able to read (Koy) Detmer's eyes. I got a good break on the ball. I was able to beat the receiver to the ball. It was a nice feeling to get there."
