Buc Mag Bucs MVP: RB Aaron Stecker

January 6 - Tampa Bay running back Aaron Stecker provided most of the highlights for the Buccaneers and had the only Tampa Bay touchdown. For his efforts, Stecker is this week's BucMag.com Bucs MVP of the game.

There weren't too many stars for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers following their disappointing fourth quarter collapse that allowed Philadelphia to score two late touchdowns to rally for a 17-13 victory at Raymond James Stadium. Tampa Bay running back Aaron Stecker provided most of the highlights for the home team and had the only Tampa Bay touchdown. For his efforts, Stecker is this week's BucMag.com Bucs MVP of the game.

Stecker rushed for 35 yards on 12 carries and provided a 13-yard run, which was the longest of the night for Tampa Bay.

Stecker's slashing style was mostly effective in the first half against Philadelphia when he rushed for 43 yards on eight carries (5.4 average). He also scored his first rushing touchdown of his young career on a 4-yard scamper up the middle in the second quarter to help build a 13-3 lead at halftime for Tampa Bay.

Stecker lost yardage in the second half on a pair of runs, which dropped his total and his average as the Philadelphia defense stiffened.

Stecker also caught three passes for eight yards against the Eagles, including a long of seven yards.
