Despite dismal season, Bucs rookie is making a name for himself in the history books

Bucs wide receiver Michael Clayton's first reception in Sunday's 37-20 loss to the Carolina Panthers was his 75th of the season and tied him for fifth place in rookie receptions in NFL history. His 22-yard touchdown reception placed him in fifth-place altogether.

Quarterback Brian Griese completed 30-of-41 passes for 321 yards for a passing rating of 99.7. He also tied his career high with three touchdown passes in a game. It marked the third time Griese has thrown for over 300 yards in a game this season.

WR Joey Galloway caught a season-high nine passes for 98 yards and a touchdown. It marked his sixth score in the past four games.

WR Joe Jurevicius topped his season-high with six catches for 66 yards.

DE/DT Greg Spires had a sack, which marked his third consecutive game with a sack. He now has a career-high of eight this season.

TE Dave Moore has now played in 161 games for the Bucs, passing Tony Mayberry for third-most in team history.
