Analysis: Tampa Bay head Coach Jon Gruden was enamored with Williams while coaching him at the Senior Bowl in January. A solid blend of speed, quickness and power, Williams will fit well into a Tampa Bay offense that looks to run the ball with consistency in 2005. Williams' ability in pass-protection and ability to catch the ball out of the backfield potentially makes him an immediate impact player for the Buccaneers.

Linebacker Barrett Ruud is a solid selection for the Buccaneers in the second round. Many scouts rated Ruud as a late-first-round talent. His endless work ethic and ability to learn will be beneficial, but needs to improve strength to get off blocks better if he is going to play inside. He plays instinctively and has the physical tools to play at the professional. Ruud may best project best at outside linebacker in Tampa Bay due to his flow and recognition skills.

Alex Smith has the size, strength, and quickness to create mismatches in the passing game. Runs solid routs and could become a serious option in the vertical passing game in head coach Jon Gruden's two-tight-end offense. His blocking needs work, but Smith is a nice pick for the Buccaneers.

Chris Colmer is a tough player who will achieve at all costs. While Colmer certainly is not the most athletically gifted, his non-stop desire got him where he is today. A move to guard at the professional level may be in the cards for Colmer.
