Sunday's 36-35 win over the Washington Redskins is the first Bucs win in the
final minute of regulation in more than two years.
TE Dave Moore played in his 200th career game, becoming only the second tight
end with 200 games and eighth all-time.
CB Juran Bolden's interception was his first as a Buccaneer and was the first
turnover forced by the Bucs since they recovered two fumbles against Miami on
WR Joey Galloway's touchdown reception from Chris Simms was his 13th in the last
14 games. He's had seven in nine games this season. He finished with seven
receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown.
RB Mike Alstott rushed for a at least one touchdown in back-to-back games for
the first time since he did in three times in the 2002 postseason. All-time, the
Bucs are 42-10 when Alstott scores at least one touchdown. He extended his
team-record lead to 65 touchdowns and 53 career rushing touchdowns. It was also
the first time he's scored two touchdowns in a game since early in 2003. His
two-point conversion run to win the game was the first two-point conversion for
the Bucs since September of last season.
DE Simeon Rice had two sacks and two forced fumbles. It was the fourth multiple
forced-fumble game of his career and first as a Buccaneers. He sacked Redskins
quarterback Mark Brunell twice, for the 13th and 14th time of his career.
WR Edell Shepherd's 30-yard touchdown reception in the first half was his first
career touchdown reception. He totaled three receptions for 87 yards and had two
catches and a touchdown on the game-winning drive.
