Bucs Release OT DeMarcus Curry

May 20 – It didn't take long for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to make another roster move on Monday after they signed free agent offensive tackle Roman Oben to a one-year contract. In order to make room for Oben on their roster, the Pewter Pirates released third-year T DeMarcus Curry.

Tampa Bay added veteran experience to their offensive line by signing swing tackle Roman Oben on Monday. But the Buccaneers also lost some depth at the position when they made room on their roster for Oben by releasing third-year T DeMarcus Curry.

Curry originally entered the National Football League as a 1999 undrafted free agent with the Bucs. He spent the first year of his career on the team's practice squad. In fact, he saw action in just three games with the team during his three-year tenure.

Curry, who became a restricted free agent this offseason, had recently signed a one-year contract with the team.
