NFL Fines Bucs DT Sapp

September 13 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Warren Sapp was fined $5,000 by the National Football League on Friday for hitting Saints offensive lineman LeCharles Bentley in the head during last Sunday's game.

Buccaneers Pro Bowl defensive tackle Warren Sapp was fined $5,000 by the National Football League on Friday for hitting New Orleans Saints rookie offensive lineman LeCharles Bentley in the head last Sunday.

Sapp was not penalized on the play, but the fine was handed down by the league after they reviewed the play on game film.
