Bucs RG Coleman Sidelined Again With Sore Knee

September 18 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers right guard Cosey Coleman, who had been sidelined with a knee injury throughout most of training camp and the entire preseason, returned to the starting lineup for the first time last Sunday against Baltimore. But Coleman didn't practice on Wednesday and Bucs head coach Jon Gruden said Coleman is listed as questionable for the Bucs-Rams game on Monday night due to soreness in his knee.

The Buccaneers offensive line received some much-needed help last Sunday when right guard Cosey Coleman, who had been sidelined since Aug. 12 with a knee injury he suffered in pre-game warm-ups, started for the first time this season.

But Tampa Bay received some bad news on Wednesday afternoon when Coleman couldn't practice due to soreness in the same knee. Coleman is listed as questionable for the Bucs' game vs. the Rams on Monday night.

"Cosey Coleman didn't practice today," said Gruden. "His knee is still sore. Is questionable for the game against the Rams. We'll remain optomistic, but he's still sore from the other day against Baltimore."

If Coleman can't start/play on Monday night, center/guard Todd Washington or tackle/guard Cornell Green will play at right guard in his place. Washington has battled through his own soreness this season due to knee surgery he underwent during the offseason, but started in place of Coleman in preseason and Week 1 against New Orleans.

PewterReport.com has listed Tampa Bay's current injury report below:

G Cosey Coleman (knee) - Questionable
