Bucs Sign G Valleta To Practice Squad

September 19 – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed guard Chris Valleta to its practice squad on Thursday. In order to make room for Valleta on its five-man practice squad, the Buccaneers released defensive end Greg White.

The Buccaneers signed offensive guard Chris Valleta to its practice squad on Thursday afternoon, just two days after releasing second-year guard Russ Hochstein from its 53-man roster.

Valleta played collegiately at Texas A&M and originally entered the National Football League last season as an undrafted free agent with the Tennessee Titans. Valleta went to training camp with the Saints this summer, but was released on Aug. 27. He will sport jersey No. 66.

In order to make room from Valleta on its five-man practice squad, the Buccaneers released defensive end Greg White.
