Pewter Report MVP: WR Keyshawn Johnson

October 6 - Tampa Bay wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson is the Pewter Player of the Game for his outstanding performance against Atlanta on Sunday. Johnson hauled in six catches for 131 yards and one touchdow against the Falcons.

For the second straight week, Tampa Bay's downfield passing game really took off. Last week against Cincinnati, quarterback Brad Johnson threw three TDs, including a 65-yarder against Keenan McCardell. Against Atlanta on Sunday, it was Keyshawn Johnson's turn to come up with a big play -- and he delivered, earning the Pewter Player of the Game award.

In the third quarter, Johnson beat Atlanta CB Juran Bolden on a fly pattern on third-and-6 from the Bucs' 24-yard line. Bolden couldn't keep up with Keyshawn and fell down shortly after he hauled in a perfect pass and took it 76 yards for a touchdown to put Tampa Bay ahead 10-6.

Johnson finished the game with six catches for 131 yards and the TD, which matched his season-long scoring output last year.
