Delayed injury report, 12:59 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27
Anyone who's ever driven from North Port to Fort Pierce and back in the same day knows my pain at this moment.
Here is the final injury report for Sunday's game:
Bucs: Out — RB Michael Pittman (ankle); Doubtful — WR Michael Clayton (ankle), TE Alex Smith (ankle); Questionable — DE Patrick Chukwurah (shoulder), CB Brian Kelly (groin). Jaguars: Out — QB David Garrard (ankle), PK Josh Scobee (quadriceps); Questionable — DE Reggie Hayward (hamstring), DT Tony McDaniel (wrist), RB Maurice Jones-Drew (knee), DT Marcus Stroud (ankle), CB Brian Williams (hamstring); Probable — LB Daryl Smith (hip), TE George Wrightster (head).
Notes: I think there's a decent chance Chukwurah plays on Sunday. I'm not so sure about Kelly. As for the Jags, Williams did not practice on Friday, so I don't see him playing. Jones-Drew was limited, but I think he'll play.
Fully expect to see Drew, 9:42 a.m.
Maurice Jones-Drew practiced in a limited fashion for Jacksonville on Thursday, so I expect to see him on the field on Sunday. He may not be completely healthy, but the Jags feel this game is pretty important and want him out there. I don't think they want to lose two straight, especially with the prospect of Quinn Gray being their quarterback for a month.

Thinking ahead to 2008, 9:38 a.m.
Scout.com draft guru Chris Steuber is already looking ahead to the 2008 NFL Draft (which has been tweaked, if you missed Thursday's blog entry). This article focuses on some of the top pass rushers that can be had beyond Round 1 — and lord knows the Bucs could use another pass rusher — and can be found via this link at scoutnflexperts.com.
He's still adjusting, 9:36 a.m.
Everyone got a taste of which Michael Bennett could do on that 18-yard run against Detroit last Sunday. But how much more has he picked up since then? He talks in-depth about his adjustment to the playbook in this article at Tampabay.com.
Another stellar backfield, 9:34 a.m.
The Buccaneers defense is getting used to this — an opponent anchored by a great running back. Find out who the other backs have been so far this season and why Jacksonville's tandem of Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor are so dangerous, thanks to this article at TBO.com.
Gray prepping for Sunday, 9:32 a.m.
Quinn Gray's arm is getting sore — and it's not from throwing footballs. It's all the notes he's taking as he prepares to start Sunday for Jacksonville, according to Ira Kaufman in this article at. TBO.com.
