Lynch, Sapp Held Out Of Practice Again

October 17 – The Tampa Bay Buccaneers practiced without strong safety John Lynch and defensive tackle Warren Sapp for the second straight day on Thursday. But both players are expected to play against Philadelphia on Sunday.

Buccaneers strong safety John Lynch and defensive tackle Warren Sapp both missed practice for the consecutive day on Thursday. Both players are resting injuries and are listed as probable for Sunday's game at Philadelphia.

Lynch and Sapp are suffering from knee sprains, but they could return to practice in a limited fashion on Friday.

"They have legitimate injuries," said Gruden. "Warren has some swelling on his knee and John Lynch is a guy who was very questionable last week, played the whole game and is still a little bit sore. They need a little extra time to get ready to play a very physical Philadelphia team."

PewterReport.com will post Tampa Bay's updated injury report on Friday afternoon.
