Injury update, 6:50 p.m.
Here is the injury report for Thursday.
BUCCANEERS: Questionable — FB B.J. Askew (ankle), LB Ryan Nece (groin), RB Michael Pittman (ankle), DE Greg Spires (calf); Probable — QB Jeff Garcia (back), WR Ike Hilliard (back). FALCONS: Questionable — G Tyson Clabo (ankle), WR Roddy White (knee); Probable — CB Antoine Harris (knee).
Checking in on player status, 2:32 p.m.
It sounds like Ike Hilliard is going to play on Sunday, as the Bucs will list him as probable on the final injury report of the week. Probable means the player has about a 75 percent chance of playing in the upcoming game.
Bucs head coach Jon Gruden sounded optimistic.
"He's shown some steady improvement," Gruden said. "We're encouraged by that."
Meanwhile, the status of DE Greg Spires is a bit more murky. Gruden said that would be a game-time decision. It also sounds like FB B.J. Askew will be questionable.
The complete injury report will be out later today.
