Storer to make first NFL start

California rookie Byron Storer will make his first NFL start on Sunday against Atlanta in place of FB B.J. Askew.

Rookie FB Byron Storer will make his first NFL start on Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons at fullback after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers declared both FB B.J. Askew and FB Zack Crockett inactive before the game.

Storer, who played at California and was a undrafted free-agent signee of the Bucs, has played special teams since re-signing on Oct. 24. He has six special teams catches and just one reception this season.

RB Michael Pittman will play for the first time since the Bucs faced the Falcons in Atlanta on Nov. 18.

Also inactive for the Buccaneers will be QB Bruce Gradkowski (third quarterback), RB Kenneth Darby, LB Jeremiah Trotter, G Dan Buenning, DE Greg Spires and DT Greg Peterson.

The Falcons' inactives are QB Byron Leftwich (third quarterback), CB Antoine Harris, LB Travis Williams, G Justin Blalock, OL Pat McCoy, DT Jesse Mahelona, OL Harvey Dahl and TE Courtney Anderson.
