Bucs RG Coleman Arrested, Charged With Battery

October 22 – Buccaneers starting right guard Cosey Coleman was arrested Monday night and charged with misdemeanor battery of his girlfriend. Coleman was released from jail Tuesday morning without having to post bond. In other news, Tampa Bay signed defensive end Greg White to its practice squad Tuesday. In order to make room for White on its five-man practice squad, the Bucs released safety Dwayne Stukes.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers starting right guard Cosey Coleman was arrested Monday night and charged with misdemeanor battery of his girlfriend. The battery allegedly occurred after Coleman and his girlfriend were involved in an argument while dropping their 8-month-old son off at daycare. Coleman spent Monday night in Orient Road Jail and was released Tuesday morning without having to post bail.

The Buccaneers have not announced whether or not they'll discipline Coleman for the incident.

In other news, Tampa Bay signed defensive end Greg White (6-3, 268) to its practice squad Tuesday. This will be White's second stint with the team's practice squad this season. He was signed on Sept. 4 but was released on Sept. 19.

In order to make room for White on its five-man practice squad, the Buccaneers released safety Dwayne Stukes.
