Pewter Report MVP: Martin Gramatica

October 27 - Bucs kicker Martin Gramatica is this week's Pewter Player of the Game. He made 4-of-4 field goal attempts and accounted for all 12 of Tampa Bay's points in the Bucs' 12-9 win over the Panthers Sunday.

Tampa Bay kicker Martin Gramatica came into Sunday's game at Carolina making only two of his last five field goal attempts. He has a kick blocked and a snap botched against Cleveland, and missed an easy yet critical 29-yard field goal last week against Philadelphia, hooking it left. Gramatica and the Bucs' field goal unit shook out of their slump to provide all of Tampa Bay's points on four field goals to edge the Panthers 12-9.

Gramatica, who was a perfect 4-of-4, is this week's Pewter Player of the Game.

He drilled a 32-yard field goal in the first quarter to give the Bucs an early lead before nailing long kicks from 52 and 53 yards to keep the Bucs close and finally tie the score at 9-9 late in the fourth quarter. Gramatica won the game by blasting a 47-yard field goal with just five seconds left in regulation.
