Gilmore played his first six seasons (2002-07) with the Chicago Bears and saw action in 86 regular season games with 10 starts, and appeared in four playoff contests. His career numbers include 21 receptions for 194 yards and three touchdowns, as well as 30 special teams tackles. Gilmore entered the league as a sixth-round selection (196th overall) by New Orleans in the 2002 NFL Draft.
