Bucs-Vikings Injury Report

November 1 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden didn't name his starting quarterback for the team's contest against the Minnesota Vikings, but QB Brad Johnson practiced for the third consecutive day Friday, which would suggest he'll likely start Sunday. PewterReport.com has the latest Bucs news from One Buccaneer Place.

Tampa Bay quarterback Brad Johnson practiced for the third consecutive day on Friday, but Buccaneers head coach Jon Gruden didn't say whether Johnson or Shaun King would start against the Minnesota Vikings Sunday.

While Gruden said King received plenty of reps and practiced well throughout the week in second-string QB Rob Johnson's place, Brad Johnson will likely start Sunday.

"He looks fine to me," Gruden said of Brad Johnson after Friday's practice. "He's throwing the ball good, he's showing good mobility, he's made all the throws and I'm confident that he'll be ready to roll. Shaun King has a good week, also."

Rob Johnson was held out of practice all week with a gluteal strain he suffered against Carolina last Sunday. Rob Johnson is expected to be the team's third-string quarterback against Minnesota.

Tampa Bay wide receivers Keenan McCardell and Joe Jurevicius were also held out of practice all week and they're not expected to play against Minnesota. If McCardell and/or Jurevicius are unable to play, Bucs wide receivers Karl Williams, Reggie Barlow and Charles Lee will play in their place.
