What don't you know about Geno Hayes? Check this out:

1. He has some famous friends. Among the NFL players Hayes can lean on for advice is current Bucs linebacker Derrick Brooks.

2. He can get behind the line of scrimmage. His 17 ½ stops behind the line of scrimmage last year was second in the ACC.

3. He couldn't get out of the south. He also had scholarship offers from Tennessee and Clemson before signing with FSU.

4. Is he a character risk? FSU head coach Bobby Bowden suspended Hayes for the first quarter of the Alabama game on Sept. 21 after Hayes was involved in an altercation outside a Tallahassee bar. He issues an apology to FSU and its fans.

5. More red flags. Hayes played in the Music City Bowl in 2007, but it was learned afterward that he wasn't enrolled in school. He left for the NFL after that. More than 30 Seminoles were suspended from the game due to athletic department-wide academic scandal.
