What don't you know about Josh Johnson? Check this out:

1. He takes care of the football. Scouts took note of Johnson during his senior year at San Diego, as he threw just one interception against 43 touchdowns.

2. He's drawing heady comparisons. Thanks to his ability to run and pass, he's drawing comparisons to Tennessee quarterback Vince Young.

3. He holds some Division I-AA records. He holds the Division I-AA records for passing efficiency (176.64), percentage of TDs per attempt (10.45 percent) and completion percentage (68.34 percent).

4. He could have played other sports. Growing up in Oakland, he also lettered in basketball and track. He was an honorable mention all-city choice in basketball and finished in the high jump (6-foot-5) at the Oakland Athletic League Championships.

5. He wasn't exactly highly recruited. Johnson received offers from St. Mary's and Idaho State. He turned down both offers to walk on at San Diego so he could play quarterback.

6. He grew up fast. He was the Pioneer League's two-time offensive player of the year.
