What don't you know about Dre Moore? Check this out:

1. He may owe his career to a guy named Knotts. Dre Moore didn't play football at Independence High School until he was spotted by the school's head coach, Tommy Knotts, during Moore's junior year. It took several meetings for Knotts to convince Moore to come out and play.

2. He's plenty strong. He had the third-highest strength index at Maryland (a measure of pound-for-pound strength). He holds the school record with a 365-pound clean.

3. He has productive teammates. Moore played just one year of varsity football and his teammate on that team was former University of Florida quarterback Chris Leak.

4. He could have starred on Tobacco Road. He signed with Maryland, but he turned down offers from North Carolina, East Carolina, Wake Forest and Duke.

5. Do you know his real name? Dre is short for Marchondray.

6. He's already a college graduate. He graduated in December with a degree in family studies.
