Stukes, who had two previous stints with the Bucs, originally signed with the team during training camp on July 26, but was released before the regular season started on September 1. Stukes signed to Tampa Bay's practice squad on Sept. 4, but was released on Sept. 10. He was later re-signed to the Bucs' practice squad on October 9, but was waived on Oct. 22.

FORMER BUCS DE JONES SIGNS WITH BILLS, PLACED ON IR
Former Tampa Bay defensive end Marcus Jones, who was released by the Buccaneers in October, signed a three-year, $3.3 million contract with the Buffalo Bills Monday.

Jones suffered a knee injury during Tampa Bay's preseason contest against Washington. The Bucs placed Jones on the injured reserve before the start of the regular season, but released him once he was cleared to play again in October.

In an expected move, the Bills placed Jones on the IR Wednesday in order for him to undergo another surgery to repair the injured knee. He is expected to be fully recovered by the start of the 2003 season.
