PewterReport MVP: CB Brian Kelly

November 24 - Buccaneers cornerback Brian Kelly is this week's Pewter Player of the Week. Kelly intercepted Packers quarterback Brett Favre twice on Sunday. He also recorded three tackles and defended two passes.

Tampa Bay cornerback Brian Kelly is making up for lost time. After not recording an interception during the entire 2001 season, Kelly has caught fire and leads the NFL with six picks this season, thanks to two thefts against Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre. Kelly is this week's Pewter Player of the Game.

Kelly's first interception came in the third quarter after the Bucs had drawn to within a point at 7-6. He stepped in front of Terry Glenn near midfield and picked off the pass, returning it 31 yards to set up a touchdown and a two-point conversion to push the score to 14-7, advantage Bucs.

In the fourth quarter, Kelly sealed the Tampa Bay win by picking off a pass intended for Donald Driver at the Bucs' 4-yard line. Aside from the two interceptions, Kelly had three tackles and two passes defensed.
