Bucs QB Johnson Returns To Practice

December 21 – Tampa Bay quarterback Brad Johnson practiced in a limited fashion with his team on Saturday, but he's still listed as questionable for Monday night's game with a lower back contusion. The Bucs are expected to wait until game time to make a decision on whether to start Johnson or backup QB Shaun King against the Steelers.

Buccaneers starting quarterback Brad Johnson returned to practice in a limited role on Saturday, but he's still listed as questionable for Monday night's game.

Johnson, who suffered a lower back contusion against Detroit last Sunday, missed three consecutive days of practice before returning Saturday.

Tampa Bay is still expected to make a game-time decision on whether Johnson or backup QB Shaun King, who took most of the reps during practice this week, will start against Pittsburgh. According to Bucs head coach Jon Gruden, the decision will be Johnson's to make.

Tampa Bay can win the NFC South Division title with a loss by New Orleans (at Cincinnati) on Sunday or a win against Pittsburgh on Monday night.
