Pewter Report MVP: Keyshawn Johnson

December 23 - Tampa Bay wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson hauled in eight passes for 132 yards and he scored the team's only touchdown of the game against Pittsburgh on Monday night. Johnson is the Pewter Player of the Game for his oustanding performance in the losing effort.

Tampa Bay wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson was the lone bright spot for the Bucs' offense, which desperately missed starting quarterback Brad Johnson, who was inactive due to a severely bruised back. Keyshawn led the Bucs' receiving corps with eight catches for 132 yards -- including gains of 20 and 23 yards -- and a touchdown to earn this week's Pewter Player of the Game in the losing effort.

Johnson spent most of his night working across the middle and taking a couple of vicious shots from Steelers defensive backs and linebackers. The Buccaneers' passing game was extremely inconsistent with King and Rob Johnson at the helm, but Keyshawn proved to be the best option on the night.

Johnson's huge night against the Steelers was his third 100-yard game of the season.
