NFC Playoff Picture Is Set

December 29 – By defeating Chicago on Sunday night, 15-0, Tampa Bay will receive a first-round bye week followed by at least one home game in the playoffs. But the Bucs couldn't have secured the much-needed bye week without some help from the New York Jets, who downed Green Bay earlier in the day, 42-17. The Bucs' win along with the Packers' loss allowed the Pewter Pirates to capture the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoffs.
