Gramatica was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Month Wednesday. He made 11-of-12 field goal attempts during the month of December, including a game-winner against the Detroit Lions on December 15.
But that's not all. Gramatica, who drilled a career-high five field goals against Chicago last Sunday night, was also named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week.
Gramatica, who accounted for all 15 of Tampa Bay's points against Chicago, became the first kicker in franchise history to make five field goals in one game. All five of his attempts were between 26 and 33 yards away. Gramatica also placed three of his six kickoffs into Chicago's end zone, two of which went for touchbacks.
The Player of the Week award is Gramatica's second of the season and fifth as a Buc. Gramatica won the award back in Week 8 after he also scored all 12 of Tampa Bay's points on the road during a 12-9 win against Carolina.
Gramatica, who was Tampa Bay's 1999 third-round draft selection out of Kansas State, has made 32-of-39 field goal attempts for a total of 128 points this season. All three of those statistics set new franchise records.
