The 12-4 Tampa Bay Buccaneers will host the 11-6 San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional playoff, which will be played next Sunday (Jan. 12) at Raymond James Stadium at 1:00 p.m. ET. The game will be nationally televised on FOX.
The 49ers, who hosted the Giants on Sunday afternoon, erased the Giants' 24 point second half lead and won the game, 39-38.
Tampa Bay is 2-12 against San Francisco all-time in the regular season, including 1-4 in Tampa. The Bucs and 49ers last clashed back in 1997, where the Bucs downed the 49ers in Tampa, 13-6. San Francisco is 5-3 on the road this season.

BUCS HEAD COACH JON GRUDEN ON FACING THE 49ers NEXT SUNDAY:
"We saw two great games today and it is just unfortunate that someone had to lose. The 49ers showed championship character in the way they came back. We are looking forward to the challenge."
TAMPA BAY DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR MONTE KIFFIN ON PLAYING SAN FRANCISCO:
"I'm just glad we're playing. It was a long day today going back and forth. We worked on the Green Bay Packers, New York Giants and the San Francisco 49ers. I'll tell you what, it's like we played three games within the last week because we've been working against all three opponents because we didn't know who it would be. The 49ers are going to be a great matchup. They are a great offensive football team, no doubt about it."
KIFFIN ON THE 49ERS COMEBACK:
"That is one of the great comebacks. That is comparable to the Houston-Buffalo playoff game (1992 AFC Wild Card Game), when Buffalo came back to beat Houston. This was a very similar type, but that was an unbelievable comeback."
KIFFIN ON 49ERS QB JEFF GARCIA:
"It was one of the great individual performances ever. The guy was unbelievable, just stepping up in the pocket. I mean he's everything that Joe Montana was in his heyday. That was a Joe Montana performance today, no doubt about it."
KIFFIN ON PLAYING AGAINST THE WEST COAST OFFENSE:
"Well, you can see how they spread the field out and they distribute the ball to all the different receivers. They do the same thing Coach Gruden does with our offense. Terrell Owens is a go-to guy, but they go to everybody. They can still run the football. They are the seventh-ranked team in the NFL in rushing and what happened was they got way behind, so they couldn't run the ball. They are very balanced and we have to be ready to defend both (the run and the pass)."
