POINTS GALORE: The Buccaneers set a club playoff record by scoring 31 points against San Francisco on Sunday. The most points scored by the Bucs in a postseason game was previously 24 points against Philadelphia in 1979.
BRING ON THE EAGLES: For the third straight year, the Bucs will have to beat the Eagles in Philadelphia to advance in the postseason. Kickoff time is set for 3:00 p.m. ET on Fox. The Eagles own a 7-4 all-time record against the Bucs, including a 2-1 mark in the postseason. Philadelphia beat the Bucs 21-3 in the 2000 Wild Card playoff game and 31-9 in the 2001 Wild Card playoff game. In the regular season and the postseason, the Bucs have lost to the Eagles four straight times, most recently at Philly, 20-10, in Week 6 this year.
QUICK HITS: Cornerback Ronde Barber had an 80-yard interception return for a touchdown negated by a personal foul facemask by defensive end Simeon Rice, but the pick stood. After the play, he gave the ball to his twin brother and New York Giants halfback Tiki, who was on the Bucs' sidelines for the game. ... The Bucs were 10-of-17 (59 percent) on third downs today
