The following is a preview of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' special teams entering training camp:

SPECIAL TEAMS: PK Matt Bryant, P Josh Bidwell, LS Andrew Economos, PK Mike Nugent.

Bryant produced career highs in points (131) and made field goals (32), including three game-winners. But Bryant doesn't have as much range as some other NFL kickers. He is 2-of-10 on attempts from 50 yards or longer, despite making a career-high 63-yarder in 2006. That's why the Bucs decided to sign former Jets' kicker Nugent in the offseason. He also could do a better job on kickoffs. Bidwell is solid, if not spectacular. Smith, an undrafted free agent from Fresno State, took over the return duties at midseason from WR Dexter Jackson and returned four kicks for touchdowns to earn a trip to the Pro Bowl.
