The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added wide receiver Ramondo North, linebacker Idris Price, center/guard Jason Scukanec and guard Mitch White to its roster on Wednesday afternoon. The Bucs signed all four players to one-year contracts.

North, Price, Scukanec and White each spent some time on Tampa Bay's five-man practice squad last season.

North (5-11, 176) signed on to Tampa Bay's five-man practice squad on January 11 and he spent the rest of the season there. North spent last spring in NFL Europe playing for the Berlin Thunder. In the spring of 2001, the Cincinnati Bengals signed North as an undrafted free agent. But the Bengals released him at the end of training camp. He later spent two stints on the Chicago Bears' practice squad.

Price (6-0, 240) first joined Tampa Bay's practice squad on December 17, 2002. He stayed there through the end of the season. Price entered the league with the New York Jets last spring as an undrafted free agent out of the University of New Haven.

Scukanec (6-2, 305) spent eight weeks on Tampa Bay's practice squad last season, but was released prior to the NFC Championship Game in Philadelphia when the team brought back running back Tony Taylor. Scukanec originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Denver Broncos last April. Scukanec was waived by the Broncos on August 27 and was then added to the team's practice squad on September 4. Scukanec spent two weeks on that unit before he was released on Sept. 17.

White (6-4, 311) signed with Tampa Bay's practice squad on Jan. 11. He was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He went on to make the Saints' 53-man roster as a rookie. After being made inactive for each of New Orleans' first nine contests, White was released and signed to the Saints' five-man practice squad. White returned to training camp with the Saints last summer but he was released before the start of the regular season. He's since spent time on the practice squad with the Saints, the New York Jets and the Green Bay Packers.
