as I stated previously Warmack and Cooper were my 2 hopeful choices that the Cards would draft. Cooper was an excellent choice. Kiem did his due dilligence on this choice. Arians has a zone blocking scheme and Cooper fits perfectly in what he is trying to accomplish. Those guys on NFL.com are not coaches and not responsible for the success or failure of a teams pick. They blow it on their analysis of most of their choices year after year. They blasted the Cards for not taking Riley Reiff last year and had him ranked as one of the 2 best OL in the draft. He didn't perform well last season and is not starting. The Lions are still trying to figure out where he fits in, and are not sure whether he is better suited as a guard or tackle. Steve K. is wise and know what is best for the team. He is a very good evaluator of talent and a great visionary. All of the free agent OL that he signed work well in the zone blocking scheme that Arians is installing. This pick will be a stamp of excellence on this team for years to come!!!
P.S. Jose, I am honored to be allowed to be a regular contribitor to this board. I have been part of others in the past, but this one is by far the BEST!!!! THIS BUD is for YOU!!!!!
WHAT THE HECK ARE THE CARDS DOING?!?!?!?!?! I cannot believe they blew it AGAIN!!!
Oops, that was last year. I am glad that they finally addressed one of the achillies heels of this team. Along, with Nate Potter and Bob Massie this line should be much better than last year. Also, This guy may end up being a Center for this team in the years to come.
Now on to the next picks, lets see what Kiem and Arians have planned for today!
The risk of failure is great, but the risk of not making the necessary changes to improve ones self will surely spell disaster!
