--A week after carrying 14 times, RB Beanie Wells had just five carries last week. He didn't enter the game until the second quarter. The Cardinals were behind, 28-7, at halftime and had to abandon the run.
--WR Larry Fitzgerald passed fullback Larry Centers on the team's all-time receptions chart. Fitzgerald is in second place, 34 behind Anquan Boldin.
--DE Darnell Dockett was not credited with a tackle in the game.
--SS Adrian Wilson continues to struggle in man coverage against elite tight ends. Antonio Gates beat him for a touchdown. Wilson is an excellent run defender and blitzer. When he struggles, it's usually in man coverage.
--RT Brandon Keith is in danger of losing his position after experiencing trouble in pass protection. Jeremy Bridges would push him for playing time.
--The Cardinals have given up more than 40 points in four of its last six games, dating back to the playoffs last season. The problem this season has been an inability to stop the run, said coordinator Bill Davis.
"We have to stop the run, focus all our effort on that," Davis said, "because it's been two games now we haven't stopped the run. Until we get that fixed, through scheme, player change, whatever I have to do, we'll do it.
"At some point, we have to step up."
--Nose tackle Dan Williams was inactive last week after checking in two pounds over his prescribed weight of 327, he said. Williams blamed part of the problem on drinking too much Gatorade late at night.
