--Outside linebacker Joey Porter is not a big fan of the NFL cracking down on helmet-to-helmet hits.
"You are going to see a lot more points, a lot more guys scared to pull the trigger to make the big play. A lot of guys will start losing their jobs because now you're not making the tackles you're supposed to make. It's just going to get crazy, man. I expect something different happening this Sunday."
--Coach Ken Whisenhunt played a round of golf during the bye week. "I didn't play well, which is to be expected after 11 weeks off," he said.
--Outside linebacker O'Brien Schofield practiced Wednesday for the first time since suffering a torn ACL during practice before the Senior Bowl. To help mentally prepare himself, Schofield did some work at home, lining up pillows as offensive linemen. "O'Brien looked like a rookie in his first practice," Whisenhunt said. "It was good to see him out there running around."
--Every Cardinals player practiced Wednesday. No one rode the stationary bike on the side.
"That's the first time in a long time, since I've been here," said Steve Breaston, in his fourth season.
--WR Andre Roberts needs to start producing on punt returns. The Cardinals rank last in punt return average.
--RB Beanie Wells still isn't the starter, but he's the featured back in the running game. Wells had 20 of the team's 24 rushing attempts two weeks ago against the Saints.
--WR Larry Fitzgerald needs 38 receptions to become the team's career leader. He is second to Anquan Boldin, who had 586 with the club.
--ILB Paris Lenon has two interceptions this season. Prior to this season, he had two interceptions in 127 games.
--WR Steve Breaston has scored touchdowns in his last three games against Seattle.
