--QB Max Hall suffered a head injury and left in the third quarter. It has not yet been called a concussion but Hall felt queasy after the hit and did not return.
--NT Dan Williams, a backup, suffered a hip flexor injury and did not return. He will be evaluated this week, and it's possible Gabe Watson could be the backup to Bryan Robinson.
--OLB Clark Haggans suffered a groin injury and did not return. Will Davis replaced him, but Haggans' injury highlights the lack of depth. Alex Hall is the only other outside linebacker on the roster, although O'Brien Schofield could be activated from the non-football injury list.
--RB Tim Hightower has lost three fumbles this season, including two in the first game and one last week against Seattle. All have come at critical times.
--DE Alan Branch is splitting time with Calais Campbell and producing. Branch had two sacks against the Seahawks.
TRENDING: Cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie made the Pro Bowl last season, but opponents aren't shying away from him. When the Seahawks needed completions, they went to Mike Williams, even when Rodgers-Cromartie was covering him. Rodgers-Cromartie hasn't played poorly this year, but there have been several times where he's been a split second away from making a big play. He needs to start making the big plays again if he is to be considered an elite cornerback.
LINEUP WATCH: Running back Beanie Wells has yet to start a game in two seasons, but that could change this week. Starter Tim Hightower killed a promising drive with a fumble, and did not have another carry in the game. Hightower has lost three fumbles this season, and coach Ken Whisenhunt's patience is thin. Hightower struggled in pass protection the game before. This offense needs a spark, and starting Wells might provide early against the Bucs.
