Cardinals: Postgame News & Notes

Arizona lost it's seventh consecutive game against the Rams, going through three quarterbacks in the process.

--CB Greg Toler returned after missing two games with a foot injury. Toler didn't start but he played in nickel situations. Mike Adams has been effective as a replacement.

--DL Darnell Dockett finally played like his usual self against the Rams. He was in the Rams' backfield all afternoon and had five tackles, including one for loss.

--QB Derek Anderson might have suffered a concussion. He will be evaluated in the next few days.

--QB Max Hall suffered a dislocated left shoulder. It was popped back into place but Hall expects to miss three to four weeks.

--S Kerry Rhodes intercepted his third pass of the season, which leads the team.

LINEUP WATCH: Outside linebacker O'Brien Schofield, a fourth-round pick, is getting more snaps as a situational player and backup. Schofield is also rotating with starting Clark Haggans. In some passing situations, Schofield is lining up at defensive end and rushing alongside outside linebacker Joey Porter. Schofield is the most promising young pass rushing prospect the Cardinals have, and they want to see as much of him this year as they can.

TRENDING: The Cardinal woes on third down continue. They converted just 1 of 11 in the loss to the Rams. Over their eight-game losing streak, the Cardinals have converted just 21 of 86 (24.4 percent). The reasons are varied: failures on first and second down have led to third and longs. Too many penalties. But mostly, it's because quarterback Derek Anderson isn't accurate enough to make a play.
